With the emergence of COVID-19 and the ongoing global pandemic, the number of people suffering from mental health conditions such as depression has increased, bringing the issue of mental health management to the forefront. In fact, during the first year of the pandemic, the global prevalence of depression increased by about 25% compared to the previous year. According to a report by the World Health Organization (WHO), the annual economic loss caused by mental health issues such as depression in 2022 amounted to approximately $1 trillion. As COVID-19 has continued, more people have been complaining of depression and lethargy, leading to the emergence of the term “COVID Blue” to describe the combined feelings of the pandemic and depression.
